Meet Leah Hall:
Leah has over 9 years of teaching and tutoring experience and has an Initial Teaching License in Special Education Generalist (K-12) and a 5 year substitute license. She has experience in working with all kinds of children, from age level to ability level. She started in the Private School setting, teaching students with dual diagnosis and mental illness. Leah then moved to the Public School setting, as a Severe Cognitive Needs teacher and started an Autism program for the middle school level from the ground up.
After having her second child, she decided to switch gears and change to a job that could allow her more time and energy with her family. Leah began tutoring with the Tutor Doctor in early 2013, and in December of that same year, began to take on administrative responsibilities. In 2014, Leah became the Operations Coordinator. She says she loves the company, the ability to have a healthy balance between her home and work life, and to be able to make a positive difference in supporting parents, students in their education, and tutors in their teaching process. In her years of experience, she has seen the difference it makes in whether parents, teachers, and students feel they are being supported, or in contrast, the amount of stress that can happen if they do not feel supported. It is a great privilege to be the person who can support them and hopefully make tutoring a positive, beneficial, productive experience for all involved!
